Poetry.com will award over 1,200 awards and prizes totaling over $100,000 to amateur poets in the coming months. All contestants are eligible for both of our contests: The Free Poetry Contest, judged by our Editors, as well as The Free Poets Choice. Rate My Poem contest, voted on by poets worldwide.
Anyone can enter the competition simply by submitting an original poem, 24 lines or fewer with a maximum of 65 characters per line, on any subject, in any style. If your poem makes it to the semi-finals, you will receive an acknowledgment by regular mail within seven weeks.
